Message: I don't know where to start, this company is absolutely outstanding, we came up from Rhode Island, and did the dead river on Saturday and Kenebec on Sunday. We had a standard room for 2 people and we ended up in the snow lodge, thanks so much for the move. The guides are awesome, they are highly experienced, I have never been white water rafting before, the guides made me feel like a pro, they work great together. Big John was awesome, and wife was so nice to us, thanks guys. Then there was regular John who took care of in the lounge, the cream drink was great, thanks John for welcoming, us we had a blast. Everyone who worked there made sure they had conversations with everyone. The video guy was great and historical. Jim cooked a mean steak and a awesome cookie. A special thanks to, I forgot your name, I'm sorry but ta special thanks for the maps and all the information on finding a moose, the first 10 minutes on the last day I saw a huge bull, which just topped off this inci weekend. Thanks to all the staff at crabapple whitewater. I suggest these guys if you ever plan on a trip to whitewater.

Message: My daughter and I had a great time staying and doing the white water activity. The staff - Carrie, Jacob, John and Emily, to name a few, were exceptional. There was an unfortunate incident with the hot water and they remedied it quickly. They let us know ahead of time and gave us options but we stayed in the room anyways. The guides were also awesome. Before the ride, they take the time going over safety etc and things that they recommend to keep the activity enjoyable. I highly recommend the items they suggested on the email they send out. Listen, they know the river, don’t argue with them or think you know better because you really don’t. Closed toe water shoes are a must. The water was chilly and so unless you’re used to the New England weather, long sleeve bathing suit or top will help you especially during the last hour of the trip since you’re just drifting until you get to the end point. At the end of the trip, I even forgot my pillow and Carrie was more than grateful to send it over. They don’t push you to purchase merchandise. It would be great if you because remember this is a small business owned company! Anyway this was a great experience and I hope we can do this again every year!

Message: As a first timer, what a blast, we were sad to leave. This is the best family run business I've come upon. You never had to worry about a thing. Very clean and organized. The food and drinks are awesome. Even the cheesy fries w/ bacon! Thank you to our guide Nigel who was like family. He was a great team leader and knowledgeable. He made us feel comfortable at all times, and made sure we had loads of fun. He was wonderful with the kids and a great teacher. We will definitely be back for another adventure.

Message: Had another great time on the River with captain Rob. My kids and I look forward to rafting in Maine every year followed by a mountain hike. The experience with the family at Crab Apple makes it even better. This was our 9th trip and won’t be our last.
