Message: They seem like great people, got me into a car the same day so I could to to work the next day. My down payment was a tiny bit higher than I wanted, but my credit and driving history is far from perfect and they still worked with me. They have very decent cars with okay miles on them.

Message: I'll start this review with my only critical thought, more-so suggestion, of my purchase with A-1. This critical point should be listed first as it is minor, does not uniquely apply to A-1, and I do believe anyone reading this review should do so ending on a positive note, hence my rating.. Get an independent inspection/review BEFORE purchasing! I did so after making my purchase which is when a few items came to light. I wont list them as they are not themselves important and I can't say they would have majorly impacted my purchase decision had I known about them up front. Also, I was not terribly surprised that these things were discovered given the age of the vehicle and where the previous titled owners were located.. As far as the far more important positive side of things.. Colin and the rest of the Mechanic Falls team were great to work with throughout the purchasing process. All required paperwork was quickly sent to my bank, phone calls were always answered courteously, and questions/concerns were resolved patiently and thoroughly. I did find a couple of problems with the vehicle prior to purchasing the vehicle. Those problems were diagnosed and repaired expediently and more extensively than anticipated. Following my purchase, I did have a couple of small issues crop up on the truck, aside from my initial point above. An appointment was scheduled and I was told A-1 could probably work with me on the cost of repair due to being so close to the date of sale. To my surprise, the issues were addressed much faster than expected and were covered at A-1's expense. These issues were small and I'm not sure many other dealerships would have taken the loss of labor time for them, never mind completely covering the repairs in their entirety.. In summary, take your time on a potential purchase, objectively look everything over closely a few times, have someone else look everything over, but don't hesitate to consider A-1 for a vehicle purchase.
